Hello,

As a mother of two dogs and a volunteer caretaker of many stray animals, I will share some general information and various experiences I have had with my furry friends on this page. A bit of life knowledge, a bit of enjoyable activities… FOR THE LOVE OF PAWS!

Dogs are animals domesticated by humans and commonly kept as pets. This process, which began with the domestication of wolves 15,000 to 30,000 years ago, has made dogs loyal friends and helpers for humans. Known for their loyalty and heroism, dogs have continued to be faithful companions to the human race for years.

Do dogs and cats have an impact on humans?

It has been experienced that owning a dog or a cat has many positive effects on mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, and depression. Dogs and cats provide emotional support to their owners, enhancing overall quality of life. They help instill a sense of responsibility and create life routines. People engage in more physical activities as they regularly walk with their dog friends, promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Becoming a dog’s family

Considering the living conditions of our dear friends, you should know that adopting a stray animal struggling on the streets or a furry friend waiting to be adopted in shelters will bring immense happiness. I do not find it right to see our dear friends as fashion items, commercial materials, and sell them for money. Believe that every rescued dog has a unique story and a lot of love to give you. In the process of adopting a furry friend, you will experience the joys and challenges of bringing a rescued dog into your home. You can add an inspiring life story to the adopted dogs and be encouraging in terms of adoption. At the same time, you can participate in activities to support local shelters and rescue organizations.

Being a dog mom/dad?

Adopting a dog means showing it care and love, meeting its needs, and sharing a life with it. Being a mom/dad to a dog requires love, patience, great responsibility, and dedication. Meeting your dog’s physical and emotional needs, building a strong bond with it, and doing your best to enhance its quality of life will contribute to its healthy and happy life. In return, your dog will offer you loyalty, love, and companionship. Living with a furry friend is an experience that will add great value and happiness to your life.
